Community Awards
SCAD “Community Champion” Awards are given to deserving people in recognition of the vital contribution they make to animal welfare in their own community. These contributions come in many forms:
- feeding, vaccinating and sterilising stray animals;
- arranging medical treatment for injured animals;
- raising funds for community-based ABC programmes;
- increasing awareness and educating others in the importance of ABC in both the owned and stray animal populations; and
- tirelessly volunteering and promoting the work of SCAD.
Although only a modest certificate, this public form of recognition is an important tool in encouraging these wonderful people to keep up the good work. Meet the recipients.
