UPDATE ON THE FLOOD SITUATION |
|

PLEASE BE PATIENT WITH US DURING THIS TRYING TIME AS RESPONSES TO ENQUIRIES ARE GOING TO BE VERY SLOW.
Please check our FACEBOOK PAGE for more regular updates.

Working with a large network of animal welfare groups including A Call, Chulalongkorn University Small Animal Clinic, Soi Dog Foundation, TREAT Bangkok, Pic-A-Pet4Home and the Kinship Circle, hundreds of abandoned and homeless dogs and cats are in need of urgent assistance, and the only way we can provide help is with your donation.
As you are probably aware, our Dog Center was evacuated during October in preparation from the floods, so all the adoptable dogs are in foster homes. The Center is still in the “firing line” to be hit by the floods, so it is not yet safe for us to return dogs or staff at this time. The Cat Center remains operational and in 48 hours we admitted 50 flood rescue cats. There are still many more to come.
Regular, monthly donations are absolutely vital to secure SCAD’s ability to keep helping Bangkok’s street cats and dogs. We rely entirely on donations and a lot of elbow-grease! We have a small paid staff (including me) plus a dedicated volunteer base. We have no vet on staff, so rely on external clinics for treatments beyond our level of knowledge or experience, and buy-in Thai vets for our spay and neuter days.
We can’t do this without you. The animals need your help. Thank you for making that help available by donating to our Flood Appeal.
Thanks for your wonderful support and understanding during this incredibly stressful time.
