It is not easy to find loving, long-term homes for cats or dogs in Bangkok as our adoption numbers show. Having become accustomed to seeing so many “disposable” stray animals on the streets and in such shameful conditions, their value as lifelong companions has yet to be understood and fully accepted. SCAD works everyday to try and change this mindset.
Meanwhile, each new home we find provides a moment of pleasure for us and a lifetime of happiness for the lucky cat or dog.
