Kali

Date of Birth Mid January 2010
Gender   female
Species   cat
Breed   DSH
Weight   3-5 kg when grown (7-11 lbs)
Background   Kali's mother Chaiya was living in the car park of a condominium when she gave birth to Kali and her 2 brothers, Rama and Shiva. The tenants were worried about mother and babies so they called SCAD for help. It was clear that Kali, her brothers, and her mother would make great candidates for adoption, making the condo tenants very happy that these cats would have the opportunity to find a loving home.

Features   Kali is a white cat with a silvery grey bobtail, and small grey patches on her ears. This pattern is known as the "van" pattern to cat fanciers who prize this rare type of coloring. She has a round face with eyes that appear to be developing as light green. She is slightly smaller than her brothers, but she has a well-balanced build, and should develop into a sturdy cat.
Character   Kali may appear shy or timid at first compared to her brothers, but it is just a ruse: she just likes to watch the action for a moment before joining in! She loves to play with toys and is often seen carrying around a ball of paper. She also loves to climb like a monkey. While she loves to play with her brothers, she will also play on her own too. Several times a day she comes for cuddles with her foster mom, at which time she purrs and purrs. She is still young and we will update her profile as her personality develops.
