| Background | Joe (Cocker) was found running around in the slums. Fortunately we had just started to do a CNR project in that area and we picked him up along with Jackie and Snow. Joe was in such poor condition; his hair was almost gone and he was in a terrible state. We have been treating here at SCAD and he has shown a marked improvement. His relaxed nature would make him ideal for adoption. | |||
| Features | Joe is a lovely auburn colour and will have a medium length coat once his hair has grown back. He has a droopy face that makes him always look sad. Joe also has long floppy ears and a short tail which would suggest that he was previously owned as this breed of dog is not born naturally with a tail that short. He is fully grown and is a smaller dog. He will also need some grooming as well. | |||
| Character | Joe is doing a lot better than he was a few months ago. He has also shown that he is very friendly and enjoys cuddles from the staff; he was very nervous when he came here but once her realised that we meant no harm he came out of his shell. He gets on well with female dogs and younger pups but is not very tolerant of male dogs. Joe is loves to follow our vet nurse around the centre and will wait when he is told to. He would make a great addition to a family that can give him the love and care he needs. He is an older dog but he deserves to have a place to call home as much as our younger ones. | |||
| Location | SCAD Re-homing Centre, Sukhumvit 71. | |||
| Health | Joe came in with server conjunctivitis which has now cleared, however he does have a cataract on his left eye. He also has demodex which is a skin problem. He is on treatment and he is showing great improvement. | |||
