Little Alice (who probably won't be so little once she grows up!) has been adopted by SCAD supporter Deborah. This is not the family's first SCAD adoption... they adopted Bibi (now called Muffin) from SCAD back in November 2008 and when their second dog passed away recently and they were looking for a friend for Muffin, they came back to SCAD to find a new doggie pal. We're sure Alice will be the perfect match!
Alice's Story: On a busy Saturday afternoon a man turned up at the SCAD Rehoming Centre with four female puppies. He used to feed their mother, a soi dog who lived at a huge shopping complex outside Bangkok. A few weeks after she has given birth to the four girls he took the puppies away from her to get her spayed and kept the puppies. When the puppies were 8 weeks old he had to leave Thailand and left the puppies in a cage at the SCAD Centre. SCAD was full to bursting (as is usual) and it was difficult to find any space to even hold the puppies so we were desperate for adopters... and we're so glad that Deborah picked Alice! |
