Annie's story:

At barely five weeks of age, this little girl was left along with her four siblings on a deserted dirt road.  There was no food, water or much chance of survival.  This kitten family had the great fortune to run out in front of a SCAD volunteer’s car to be rescued.  With this sense of adventure we couldn’t help but name Annie after another famous explorer, Annie Smith Peck who was the first woman to climb the Matterhorn in the Swiss Alps.
