Gaia was found during a SCAD CNR project in a bad state. She had just given birth to three tiny kittens and had also sustained a horrific injury to her eye. She was quickly taken to a local vet clinic where her eye was removed and she was also sterilised. She recovered well and her kittens were raised in foster care. Her main carer, Amy, had Gaia at home with her for so long that it would have been impossible to break up the partnership and Amy formally adopted Gaia in April 2010. What a great team!
