Date of Birth/Age: mid July 2008 Gender: Male Species: Cat Breed: DSH Weight: 5 kg (11 lbs) Background: Hunter first came to SCAD in 2008 as a kitten. He had been attacked by a dog in the garden of a SCAD volunteer and was taken to the pet hospital for immediate treatment. He suffered from a mild trauma of the head but recovered well. As it was not safe to put him back where he came from he was brought to SCAD and admitted to our adoption program. With his wonderful personality and handsome looks, Hunter was quickly adopted. Hunter enjoyed a loving, caring relationship with his adopter for over two years. Unfortunately Hunter came back to us due to the dire personal circumstances of his adopter. After consulting with us, the adopter decided it was best for Hunter to come back to us to be re-homed. It was the last thing the adopter wanted to do, and it really was a last resort option. Fortunately, we had space for one adult cat so were in a position to help. Hunter is now back in our adoption program and we hope he will get a second chance to find a forever home.
Features: His coat is mainly ginger tabby with a white nose, chest and belly. All four legs are white with a sweet ginger spot on his left front paw. He has yellow eyes and a long, straight. Character: Talkative Hunter is a real character. He had only been back at SCAD for a few days so still needs to get used to his new environment but he already shows that he is a very active and inquisitive cat. He slowly gets used to be with other cats but will need to go to a home without dogs.
