Joop Joop

Adopted: March 16 2012

Loveable pup Joop Joop had a rough start in life, contracting and winning the battle against deadly disease parvo. Now, however, she is having a great time after being adopted by SCAD supporter and regular volunteer Natalie and her family. Natalie who spent lots of time with Joop Joop and all the other dogs before deciding that this particular little pup was the one for her family!

Joop Joop has settled in excellent, getting on very well with Natalie's current dog, and is currently being prepared for her trip back to France with the family this coming Summer!

Joop Joop's : Joop Joop meaning 'kiss kiss' in Thai, came to SCAD after surviving a battle with the highly dangerous Parvovirus -  one of the worst diseases a puppy can contract. Along with her two sisters, Joop Joop was initially rescued by volunteers from the TWP Coalition and were admitted to the TWP Shelter under SCAD's care. Upon admission, however, it became clear the pups were incredibly ill and all 3 tested positive for Parvovirus. Thanks to the fundraising efforts of David Alexander and the care of staff at Thong Lor Pet Hospital, these three sisters made it. Now, to find them loving, forever homes. Woof! The fourth pup in the litter was not so lucky and unfortunately died before she could receive the treatment she needed.

Many thanks to Claire Deacon, Mark Stelzner and all others who contribute their photography skills to our adoption programme.
