Lize (PAWS Bangkok)

Date of Birth/Age:
Adult cat, date of birth unknown.

Gender:
Female

Species:
Cat

Breed:
DSH

Weight:
4.5 kg

Background:
Lize came to SCAD via one of our Capture, Neuter,Return (CNR) projects. She had complications during her spay surgery that resulted in temporary hind limb paralysis and later, a hernia. This somewhat feral cat has been through so much yet has taken it all with seldom a hiss, so we decided to keep her off the mean streets of Bangkok and find a loving home for her.

Features:
Lize is a beautiful white calico with a round face and big golden eyes. Her tail is long but due to some remaining hind-end paralysis it hangs down.

Character:
Lize came to SCAD a bit more feral than the average street cat. She is skittish around loud noises and in unfamiliar places. It takes her time to warm up to people, but when she does she rewards her new friends with purrs and cuddles. While she has recovered from her paralysis and is completely mobile and able to jump and play, her tail is still a bit droopy. This may continue some months or be permanent, but it does not affect her mobility. Lize will be happiest in a quiet home without children, but given ample time to adjust, she should be able to live with other cats.
