The rainy season has come early this year and spells disaster for young animals fending for themselves on the streets of Bangkok, and the calls upon our services grow. Please help us to help more animals desperately in need by donating right now in memory of 'Storm'.
Storm's Story
Lightening flashed, thunder roared and beneath it all a pitiful mewing was heard. It took 3 days before local animal lover, Khun Daeng, found the tiny kitten tucked behind a rubbish bin near the home of SCAD volunteer, Claire.
For 4 days, Claire nursed and bottle fed her, and with growing optimism for her survival, named her 'Storm'. Coaxed into suckling from a nursing mama cat, hopes for Storm's recovery rose, but with shocking speed, Storm's health suddenly deteriorated. At five minutes to five that day, just a few hours after snuggling with mama cat and her playful kittens, Storm took her last laboured breath.
'Storm' has passed but the rainy season continues with a vengeance. Countless kittens will be washed away from their mothers in flood waters, and dogs and cats will succumb to fever and infection. We help as many as we can.
There are many others like Storm who deserve a chance.
