With our animals…

The animals and staff greatly appreciate the time that volunteers give to help out. It is only with your assistance that we can keep things running, making the animals’ stay with us as stress free and happy as possible. Volunteering at SCAD can be lots of fun and is very rewarding, but there is also work to be done! Helping make a difference to the lives of the animals that live here, it involves things like walking & training dogs, socializing cats, cleaning/disinfecting of litter trays, bowls, cages, traps, floors or poop scooping in garden and kennel areas, including sand pits. There are also other many things to be done at SCAD… Any idea is welcome!

At events…

SCAD Foundation is regularly present in fundraising events – money is always needed to keep us going! So if your skills are more with organizing, selling, decorating stalls, if you like talking to people to explain what SCAD is all about and encourage donations… Your help is greatly needed too.

On full-time or part-time basis…

At times, SCAD Foundation is also looking for “permanent” volunteers, who will take charge of a specific activity. Full details of what is involved for each of these positions will be given during personal interview. Some work can be completely home-based. Other roles require varying lengths of time at SCAD premises. Please check back here frequently for new volunteer positions!
