ReTails Store and ReTails Too depend on people like YOU to run the daily operations.
ReTails volunteers can offer help as a collection point for gifted supplies; sorting and preparing them for sale at the Stores; distributing leaflets; restocking and selling merchandise, keeping the Stores clean and tidy, and chatting about the reason for the ReTails Stores’ existence. Whichever way you wish to volunteer with ReTails, your efforts go to help the stray animals, so you are invaluable to us and to them! To volunteer, call Claire on 0 84676 1064
ReTails Store has an exclusive feel – a place where you’ll have fun working in a light and airy atmosphere and meeting some interesting folk along the way. If you can volunteer anything from a few hours to whole days each week please let us know.
ReTails Store will soon be the home of our Walkies sandwich business. Fresh and tasty sandwiches and snacks will be produced and packaged here daily (Tuesday to Saturday) and sold around Bangkok — if you have a culinary or marketing flair, your expertise is welcomed. If you are able to transport our snacks to sites around Bangkok on a regular basis please get in touch — even if it’s just a few hours each week, we need your help!
ReTails Too is a vibrant ‘happening’ place to be with lots going on all the time. Whether it’s sorting the stock, chatting to customers or displaying the Big Stuff to best advantage, there’s always plenty to do.
ReTails Too will soon be home to Scoffees — a Healthy Options Café offering a wonderful selection of savoury and sweet dishes. If you are creative in the kitchen or enjoy meeting and chatting to hungry customers come along and join in the fun.
ReTails Too will also be the place to find our adoptable puppies and kittens — housed in purpose built kennels and cattery. If you wish to volunteer, we’ll talk you through the procedures — they’re simple. If you’re willing to be a ‘collection point’, you can set the hours and days that suit you best. If you wish to volunteer at either Store, a pledge of a set number of hours each week is easier for us to manage. ‘Shifts’ are available in the morning, early afternoon, and afternoon/evening — weekdays or weekends. The Stores are open 5 days a week, Tuesday to Saturday, 9am-5pm
Will You Be Making A Difference in the Community?
Profits from ReTails Store and ReTails Too will benefit SCAD Bangkok’s programmes to reduce the number and improve the lives of the street cats and. Funds raised will help to support all of SCAD Bangkok’s activities, including our Animal Birth Control Programme (ABC), medical treatments, hospitalisation costs, feeding programmes and community education.
The time you volunteer at our ReTails Stores makes all the difference in the world, especially to the cats and dogs! It is pivotal in our aim to generate funds to keep our programmes alive. Each month, using funds raised, we aim to sterilise a minimum of 120 street dogs and cats, hopefully more. Just imagine the number of lives that saves. Plus we vaccinate against rabies and treat injuries and diseases. This helps to create a happier, healthier and safer environment for everyone to enjoy.
