| Kannika (PAWS Bangkok) |
|
Date of Birth/Age: March 2011 Gender: Female Species: Cat Breed: DSH Weight: 3 kg when fully grown Background: Kannika is one of 18 cats who came to SCAD after being found during a CNR (Catch Neuter Return) project in the local area. All 18 of the cats were being kept together in a very small cage by a local lady, with inadequate food, no access to sunlight, non-existent medical care and 1 litter tray between them. After sterilizing all of the cats who were old enough, SCAD was reluctant to return the cats to such awful conditions, and after liaising with the carer of the cats, it was agreed that the best chance of a good future for Kannika was for her to enter the SCAD adoption program. Due to the SCAD closure, Kannika is now under the care of PAWS Bangkok (http://www.facebook.com/pawsbangkok), where she is being taken great care of while she waits for her forever home. Features: Kannika is a very good looking cat, being mainly white in color but with brown tabby and pale ginger patches. Her face is mainly white with brown tabby ears and lovely yellow/green eyes. She has a long brown tabby tail.
Character: Kannika is a sweet cat and can be a little shy around strangers. She is not quite so adventurous as some of the other cats rescued from the same situation, but if approached she really appreciates love and attention. Location: Foster home in Bangkok Health: FeLV positive and FIV positive - would need to be seperated from other cats Neutered: Yes Vaccinated: Yes Ready to Depart: NOW |
Many thanks to Claire Deacon, Mark Stelzner and all others who contribute their photography skills to our adoption programme.
