Micky (now in Canada)

Date of Birth/Age:
November 2009

Gender:
Male

Species:
Dog

Breed:
Mixed

Weight:
13 kg (28 lb)

Background:
In February 2010, at just three months old, Micky was found tied up in a vacant lot in a central Bangkok location. A member of SCAD’s staff was walking her pet dogs and heard his cries. The local motorcycle taxi drivers explained that the puppy was tied up there before daybreak by a foreigner. He was adopted very quickly, before he was even admitted to SCAD’s adoption program! Sadly, his adoptive home was not able to manage his high energy levels and cheeky character, so they appealed to SCAD for help in finding him a more suitable forever home. Micky travelled to Calgary, Canada, to the Heaven Can Wait Animal Shelter  where we home his new base will help him to find his forever home quicker!

Features:
Micky is a medium to small black dog with tan paws and muzzle. His fur is medium length and he has lovely soft fluffy ears. Medium level grooming is required with careful attention to be paid to his ears and paws.

Character:
Micky loves the company of other dogs but can be a bit of a troublemaker always pushing the boundaries. He is very smart and will need an experienced owner that can teach him the rules and stick to them. With a little clear guidance Micky will make a very loyal pet and he also enjoys a good cuddle once he is tired out and finished playing. Micky will benefit from long walks, games of fetch and other energetic pastimes to help him burn off his abundant physical and mental energy.
