Samsii was living at a school in central Bangkok. A lovely local lady (Cat Aunty) would go and feed Samsii and the other cats at the school. However she had not seen Samsii for a while and when she appeared she was emaciated and looked very unwell. A SCAD volunteer went down to the school as she was helping with a cat project there and when she went to pick up Samsii she noticed a very overpowering odour coming from her. Just when she was going to examine her further a huge abscess on Samsii’s rear burst. It was thought that she may have been attacked by a dog and had been bitten which became infected. Samsii was taken to the vet clinic for treatment and recovered with us here at SCAD. She was very shy and did not like to be touched but as she slowly recovered her personality changed and she became very friendly and playful. We decided to keep her for our adoption program due to her strong and determined character. Samsii was given her name by the local Cat Aunty due to her 3 colours.
Samsii is a beautiful calico cat with the typical white, orange and black patches. Samsii has a very playful expression on her face and lovely amber coloured eyes.
Samsii was not a very happy cat when she came to us. She was almost skin and bones and had a huge abscess on her rear - nobody would be at their best under those circumstances! However, after she started to recover, her personality went from nervous and apprehensive to playful and very curious. Samsii is a lovely cat that enjoys playing with anything she can get her paws on - even other cats that cross her path.
