This is an important and busy role, and critical to the success of many of our activities! Good computer, organization and people skills are necessary. Ideally, if you speak, read and write Thai and English that would be perfect, but fluency in English is mandatory.
Duties include proactively working with management to identify volunteer needs, advertising those needs on our website, via Facebook, via businesses and community groups, etc. Accept all volunteer enquiries by e-mail and/or phone and screen them in the first instance. Conduct regular volunteer orientation sessions for new volunteers at our Cat and Dog Centers. Coordinating volunteers for events and activities, as well as matching up new volunteers with those who are more experienced. Developing routine and emergency rosters as needed (usually a spreadsheet on a file serving tool like Dropbox).
